Roasted chocolate malt, light smoke and faint hop aroma. Nice dark brown pour, froth tan head from a tap. Sweet coffee and chocolate taste, nice bitter contrast. Creamy, filling body, yet easily drinkable. One of the better non-hop bombs I have tried lately.
Can from Binnyís Lincoln Park. Deep brown colour, rapidly vanishing head. Quite a sweet, malty porter. Low bitterness. Small hint of vanilla, some nuts, a bit of toffee. Hint of acridity in the finish. A bit heavy and slightly boozy. Lacks drinkability. tnkw01 (1753) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 22, 2017

Pours dark coffee brown with a substantial, foamy, light cappuccino head. Nicely aromatic - roasted grains, chocolate, slightly sweet. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, with a faint hint of hops in the finish. Definitely on the sweet side. Palate has nice mouth-feel, with a light creaminess. Overall, very American Porter, featuring the sweeter notes, with barely a nod to the part sour heritage - nice beer. Cavie (4651) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2017
Tap at Pour House. Semi-opaque Pour. Brown with Ruby highlights. Roasted grain aroma. Nutty. Some caramel notes. Sweet flavor. Nutty character, caramel malt. Dried leaves. Finishes light but toasted.

Draught @ Malt and Mold. Translucent dark brown with small foamy beige head, mocha aroma, medium carbonation, caramelized malt-mocha taste, somewhat thick body, long mocha finish. Good porter. Suttree (6358) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 4, 2017
Can thanks to grownfool. Black, with a gigantic brown head. Coffee aroma, with a lot of mildly sweet raisin, prune, and red wine. Taste is also on the sweet side, with red wine, raisin, coffee and chocolate. Odd, but I liked it. radredgreen (1) - - DEC 29, 2016 does not count

12 oz can Filled: 11/16/16. Poured into a Union pint glass.
L: Dark cola brown with two fingers of off white head. Fades to a thin film on top of the beer. Some pretty decent lacing stuck to the glass.
S: Toasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, chestnuts.
T: Smooth milk chocolate blended with a roasted malt and slight dark fruit sweetness.
F: Medium-full body, creamy, moderate carbonation.
O: Hits most of the marks I like in a porter. What the aroma lacks is made up in flavor. Would be a regular in my lineup if it were distributed around here.
