Tap at the brewery. A paragon of the style! Some roast coffee with dark chocolate notes. Pours a nice dark brown/black with great flavors and a nice, slightly bitter ending. Maybe a tad sweet, but I like that in a porter.

Pours pitch black with a large light brown head. Smells roasty and chocolaty. Taste is primarily milk chocolate with hints or roast. Medium-bodied with a smooth, silky texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Revolution Eugene finishes smooth and chocolaty. bowlnman1990 (94) - Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 24, 2014

12 oz can. Pours a dark brown to black with a dark caramel head. Aromas of chocolate and Malt. Intense porter flavor with some chocolate and smokiness. Thin to medium mouth feel. Overall very nice porter. One of the best porters I have tried. Frozer (240) - Illinois, USA - OCT 18, 2015
Black pour, tan head. Chocolate and bread aroma very thick head which retains for awhile. Chocolate hits first. Roasted malts follow. Some lighter Caramel notes detected. Perfect mouth feel for the style

This is a satisfactory Porter in my opinion. Lot’s of flavor, minimal carbonation. A good beer, made right, is a wonderful thing. wlajwl (7008) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Aroma is dark/earthy malts, coffee and a hint of light bitterness. The flavor is dark malts, coffee, chocolate, fruit/berries and an acidic/tart finish. Onenote81 (1002) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - MAR 20, 2013
I’ve never had anything from these guys, and I’m always up for trying new brew. Can poured into a chalice.
Pours a thick deep black, with just a sheet of lace on the top after what I thought was an aggressive pour. Bits of lace cling to the glass. The nose is full of roasted goodness: ground coffee, chocolate malt, toasted bread, and a kiss of sweet vanilla on the finish.
Good hefty body. Chewy but easy to drink. Good bubble play on the palate. Big milk chocolate flavors all over this beer. Some mild roastedness rounds it out a bit. I’ve had far too many Porters that are heavy on the roasted aspect and it just wears on you, but this one is perfectly balanced, even erring on the side of a little more sweet. Some vanilla and almond noted as well.
Really a stand out beer here. Were this available to me locally, I think I’d have regular stock of this in my fridge as my go-to dark beer. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2013
12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours almost black with a finger of dark brown head. Aroma of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is light bitter coffee and chocolate with a hint of burnt caramel. Full bodied with a creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, great. This could be a great daily drinker. dumontn (530) - St. Joseph, Michigan, USA - OCT 31, 2011
Pours dark brown, deep ruby with thick light brown head and great retention. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, mildly aggressive roast. Taste is green hops, chocolate cake, coffee. Body is medium, creamy, slick, average carbonation, dry roasted finish. Overall, my first brew from revolution and a fantastic one.
