Slightly Hazy Dark Reddish Amber Color, Big Long Lasting Foamy Head, Lots Of Lacing. Nice Fruity and Floral Hop, Light Resin Aroma. Sweet Malty, Fruity Hop, Light Resin. Smooth and Pleasant. Easy To Enjoy, Hides ABV Real Well. Local Brewer. Went to Their Brew Pub a While Ago but since they had Long Wait, We did not stick around... Gonna have to make the trip again and plan ahead or be more patient. Nice and Tasty. Gonna Have To Have it Again Next Christmas. Nice Cans. Recommended.... Can from Secret Santa 2014. Thanks! Pours hazy coppery ruby with frothy off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, resiny hops, orange. Tastes very piney, hoppy, with caramel malt, orange zest, and a citric, hoppy finish. Quite nice. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Tap @ Revolution: Very slight ruby-tinted copper & brown body with a foamy, beige-gray head that leaves moderate webbed lacing along the glass. Aroma of mild toffee malt, semisweet candied ginger, orange zest, baked bread, faint toasted pecans, & a light drizzle of caramel. Ginger takes the reigns of the flavor... Heavy ginger notes, spicy & warming & zesty with a small, underlying malty sweetness. Faint caramel, brown sugar. Notes of toasted sugar cookie in the periphery with even more subtle notes of orange peel, earth, potpourri spice, & flower petals. Finishes strong with ginger & a small hint of caramel apple. Sharp, just on the edge of astringent. A little to ginger-heavy for me to completely jive with, but still a decent Christmas ale. DialSquare (5029) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 3, 2014
12oz can from Kroger in Grandview. Amber pour with a big frothy off-white head and strong retention. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel, toasty. Tastes are ginger, earthy, pine, nutmeg, citrus peel. Ok, not to my tastes.

Clear copper with reddish hues and a thin off white head which retains well. Good lacing follows. Hops and pine on the nose, orange pith, spice. Pine forward in the taste, hops, candied sugar, bitter orange peel, touch of spice. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate and bitter in the finish dhatton (241) - Mendham, New Jersey, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Red amber pour from tap with thin head. Spicy aroma of cinnamon, ginger, licorice, and orange peel are most noticeable. Chewy nutty chocolate malt flavors overwhelm hints of bitter hops. Hops try to emerge, but never quite break through the malty spiciness noted above. Overall, decent Christmas ale that could age well. vyvvy (6468) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - NOV 29, 2014
Sampled at the STL Hops 7th Anniversary Party - Pours clear copper with a tan head. The aroma has ginger, toast, spice and dry malt. It has a medium / light crisp body with semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with crackers, gingerbread cookies and Christmas spices. The finish is dry and has some graham cracker notes. Nice Christmas ale. rxeight (3082) - Illinois, USA - NOV 29, 2014
12 oz can. Kind of a Christmas ale and IPA hybrid. Hoppy but has way Too much clove and holiday spice. AdamChandler (5051) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 29, 2014
A dark brown only slight clarity. Nose has a lot of holiday spice. Nutty and woods and spicy all at the same time. It’s a nice malty taste. Lots of clove and brown sugar and maple syrup. The backbone is nice but it’s not a beer I’d drink often
