Revolution Brewing Fistmas I picked up this can last winter and have held on to it since then. The beer pours a deep red-brown with a thick light beige head. The aroma is full of citrusy hoppiness with a sweet caramel malt backbone and hints of spices. Medium bodied with a raspy carbonation. The beer is substantially maltier than I expected with biscuit, orange, caramel, citrus zest and spices (cinnamon/allspice). Im not sure how this was when fresh but its drinking beautifully at the moment with loads of balanced flavor.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a slightly hazy orange-caramel color with a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was toasty with rough fruity and piney hops and hints of vague spice. The flavor was bitter with rough fruity hops, crystal malt and faint vague spices. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2016 12 Oz can. Pours dark amber red with a creamy light brown head leaving little lacing. Mild aromas of cereal grain, some nutmeg, cherry and apricot. Flavor is quite sweet with lots of fruity malt and a good dose of herby hops to balance it off. Full body with a creamy, thick mouthfeel and cloying sugars. Overall, super tasty malty brew.

Ginger makes this one interesting. Some malt sweetness abounds in aroma and flavor. A rich yet biting red ale

Ginger and menthol aromas. Hints of pine in the background. Copper color with a foamy aged canvas colored head. Ginger has the first bite in the flavor, but not a sharp one. Long and fairly smooth in a not so spicy way. Just a hint of a malt backbone, mild biscuit, cracked grain and caramel. Feel is light. A good amber with a kick of ginger. Nice malt linger. 12/14
