3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear, darker golden with an average white head. Aroma is what you would usually expect from this style. There is a good blend of pine, grapefruit, and pineapple. I do find a bit of caramel notes in here as well. The taste is dry and bitter. I get some pine, but more fruity flavors. Grapefruit, mango, and orange, melon, perhaps a bit of kiwi as well. Aftertaste is pine, melon, and mango. Medium bodied, sticky in texture, and lots of lively carbonation. I find this crisp and refreshing. Easy to drink, with all of the IPA goodness without the crippling punch. I’m impressed with this one.

Flava is tangy spicy hoppy grainy moderately bitter

12 ounce can from Badger Spirits in Beloit, WI, served fairly cold from a pint glass. Vaguely hazy medium amber-gold body with a fluffy, lasting cumulous cloud of off-white foam that laces thickly as it fades...sweet-spicy aroma of honey, mango, light resinous pine, more citrusy elements showing up after a few minutes, pleasant but nothing fantabulous...fairly intense bitterness throughout, light sweetness, a touch syrupy around midpalate but drying out nicely enough towards the finish...no sign of it’s ABV really, this drinks to me more like 5.5% and is very quaffable. Doesn’t in the end excite me, it’s a little too full or something, but definitely worth a try or two, or more if it’s on sale and fresh. thedm (6319) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 16, 2017
This draft brew from a restaurant was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated body transparent orange brown colored body and a very good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of mild citrus hops malt and bread dough. A decent one that I would consider drinking again. SamP01 (668) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 10, 2017
12oz can. Pours clear golden amber with a medium white lasting head, some light lacing. Aroma is sweet citrus, pine and grapefruit notes. Taste has a nice fruity flavor, tropical fruit, citrus and grapefruit, some pale malt. Has medium body with good carbonation. Finishes with a good fruity flavor, tropical fruit, grapefruit hops bitterness which intensifies as it warm up. Leaves a lingering dry hop bitterness as it goes down. Overall a very good, full flavored IPA. very nice. japancottrer (17) - JAPAN - JUN 3, 2017
This is an excellent IPA that stands out among its peers. Clean, crisp aroma of pine and citrus, although the aromas are a little light. The taste starts similar with pine and citrus, albeit with a more pronounced profile, and then the hops hit like a blast from a laser cannon. The right amount of carbonation gives this beer a lively mouthfeel, and lends a longish, crackling finish of flavor.
After a pint to start the evening and a pint to finish the evening, I now want to strap on my jet pack and save the galaxy from nefarious evil-doers!

Can, Trader Joe’s Chicago. Light amber colour, nice white foam. Crisp pale ale this, just enough sweetness in the malt base and a good whack of citrusy lime grapefruit slightly floral hops, medium to long bitter finish. Supremely moreish. A lovely little drop.
