I liked this one, from the start the aroma gave off a soft cocoa aroma with some light roasted malts as well. This sweet stout is very creamy and full of dark chocolate flavors, leading to a smooth bitter finish. Thanks for the share - you know who you are. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 29, 2012
GABF. Nice brown pour, creamy head. Aroma has some great chocolate milk notes, lactose sugar, roasted malt takes a back seat. Flavor is sweet, chocolate, sweet, smooth and really good! madvike (3264) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Bottle from pantanap...thanks Kan! - Pours cola-black with a thin tan head. Nose is a nice blend of milky, creamy sweetness and medium-dark roast. A bit of butterscotch and vanilla, as well as a little astringency. Taste is smooth up front--lots of sweet vanilla, some molasses, and a touch of brown sugar, transitioning into a charred, espresso finish. Bitter and astringent finish. A little thin in the mouth, making it feel a bit watery. Not a ton of carbonation. This felt promising, but was a bit of a letdown. douglas88 (9194) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 15, 2012
On tap in Denver for GABF 2012. Pours a black color with a medium tan head. A nice big milky nose with chocolates. The flavor is a rich milk chocolate with light metallic roast, very smooth. Good. Dogbrick (13026) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 14, 2012
Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Blackish pour with a creamy tan head and patchy lacing. Roasted coffee and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and molasses. Sweet malty finish with some mild coffee lingering. Above average overall.

Aroma is earthy/slightly dry malts and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is earthy/roasted malts, mild nuttiness and a tart/sourish finish. andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Enjoyed on tap at Sheffield’s in Chicago, IL after seeing Will Johnson play @ Schubas. This stuff was exceptionally good. Appearance creamy and pitch black. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, a bit of nuts, coffee, pretty appealing. Taste was fantastic. I didn’t take notes while having this, just remembered this being great. dinkle50 (1477) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2012

Bomber pours an opaque dark brown with small tan head and some lacing. Not much to smell, but aroma is full of roasted malts, some coffee, and a bit of vanilla in a the finish. Body is medium without too much carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet and mouthfeel is creamy. A good, stout from a favorite local brewer. Newk (299) - - SEP 23, 2012
poured from tap at the brewpub. Poured into a snifter and pours a dark chocolate color with a nice chocolatey head.
well balanced with pungent aromas of malts, milk chocolate, and coffee beans. There is nice depth to it as well.
Full bodied with the feel being the real show. Very smooth and fairly classy as well with flavors of milk chocolate, malts and some roasted notes as well.
This is pretty damn good. It’s been a while since it was on tap and I didn’t fully remember it. Hopefully this sticks around a bit longer.
