Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Blackish pour with a creamy tan head and patchy lacing. Roasted coffee and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and molasses. Sweet malty finish with some mild coffee lingering. Above average overall. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Doesn’t come across too smooth and creamy. But I love it. It is a clean and bitter coffee-like stout. hopscotch (11101) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 21, 2014
Bottle... Mostly clear, dark brown pour with mahogany highlights and a small, creamy, khaki head. The aroma is a swirl of toffee, caramel and a light measure of mocha. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with busy carbonation. The flavor is a blend of sweet caramel, vanilla and mocha. Decadent, nourishing finish. Bottle courtesy of BBB63!

On tap @ Black Finn. Dark brown, tan head. Roasty with medium sweetness, lightly creamy, quite light considering the ABV actually, but nicely balanced. phaleslu (10264) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 3, 2014
Draft at The Brass Tap, served in a snifter. Pours a dark brown with a deep Amber hue and a centimeter off-white head that settles into a ring and leaves spots of lace. Aroma of toast, mild roast, chocolate, milk sugar, tobacco, and toffee. Flavor of chocolate, lactose, candied nuts, cream, tobacco, and mellow roast. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth, sweet mouthfeel. Good sweet stout. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Taster on tap at the brewpub. Clear red brown color. Thin off-white head, kind of cream colored. Leaves great thicker lace. Nice milk chocolate, mild roast, mild earthy herbal aroma. Moderate sweet taste, but not cloying or sugary. Mild bitter taste, good earthy hop balance. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Nice sweet stout. Well-done.
