Big bold robust coffee scents. Taste is similar, lots of coffee with a bit of chocolate. Has a big bitter finish, mouth feel isn't as creamy as I thought. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Dark brown-red with a large, bright white head that is slowly yet mostly diminishing. Malt heavy aroma is rich of roasted malt, bittersweet cocoa, molasses and mild coffee. Lightly sweet flavor with pin pricks of roasty bitterness. Extremely light carbonation, and the lactose is noticeable in the slick, lightly creamy texture. Finish has notes of bittersweet chocolate and light rye bread. A straightforward sweet stout, well made and a good representation of the style. A nice change from the imperial stouts flooding the market.

Enjoyed on tap at Sheffields in Chicago, IL after seeing Will Johnson play @ Schubas. This stuff was exceptionally good. Appearance creamy and pitch black. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, a bit of nuts, coffee, pretty appealing. Taste was fantastic. I didnt take notes while having this, just remembered this being great.

Dark pour with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt and the sweetness of lactose. Taste is roasted malt, lactose. The balance of lactose and roasted malt just hit it right for me. Wonderful One of the better milk stouts Ive had. Creamy. Nice lacing.

Draft at Revolution (got a growler to go home also). Pour dark brown/black with dark tan head. Aroma of roast and heavy chocolate. Rich and sweet chocolate flavor. I thought it was a nicely done stout.

Thanks for the share, Markwise. Nose is chocolate/cocoa, some light roast, and a faint sweetness. Pour is dark brown. Tan head. Taste is sweet roasted malt with some nice cocoa and chocolate flavors. Sweet and delicious.

Thin-ish body from the pour, certainly brown (not black) in color. Good lace, not much head. Some lacto sugars in the nose, though they are entirely absent in the taste. A pretty good (basic) stout, nothing special here.

I liked this one, from the start the aroma gave off a soft cocoa aroma with some light roasted malts as well. This sweet stout is very creamy and full of dark chocolate flavors, leading to a smooth bitter finish. Thanks for the share - you know who you are.

Bottle from atom. Pours a deep brown with thin khaki head. Aroma is light roast coffee with minimal milk chocolate. Taste is light cocoa milk with a thin coffee bean. Overall the silky milk makes this but a little thin in the mouth.
