3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours Clear amber. 3 fingers of frothy off white head that dissipates quickly to a cap. A ton of carbonation. No lacing. Nose is very earthy and nutty with some spice and caramel. Mouth is slightly bitter with a unique hoppy quality. Some sweetness with a slight malt backbone. A very good Oktoberfest.
Clear amber with a tall, yellowish-beige head.
Caramel, honey aroma.
Taste is sweet and light, caramel malt, a bit of fruit and toasted malt.
Not bad.....like an Oktoberfest Lite, though. Onslow (1521) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - OCT 13, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Pour from 12oz can. Clear brown brew with small head that immediately dissapates. Aroma of light malt, tart friut, hint of grape jelly. Taste is toasted malt up front with modest tartness towards the end, again with the grape jelly, then finishing with woody malt and a hint of earth. Enjoyable. nearbeer (5558) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 8, 2017
12 oz. canned 08-11-2017. Clear orange-amber with a film of loose bubbles. Big aroma of honey, pear, toasted grain and spicy lemongrass. Flavor is honey, earthy toast, light apple and lemon zest. Near-medium bodied brew has the requisite big maltiness but maintains a delicate, drinkable balance. Medium-high fizz is my only knock on this otherwise excellent take on the venerable style. Thanks party Bob! jcr (2726) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - OCT 8, 2017
Can. Deep golden/light amber body. Frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, caramel, light earthiness, bread. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Sweet malts to start with yeasty (dough), grainy finish. Can into dimpled mug. Half finger head. Aroma of caramel. A smooth first impression. A hint of smoke and great malt backbone. Marzipan. Not a typical Octoberfest but a really good beer.

Rated on 9-29-2017. (Can Filled 08/04/17) The appearance is a medium sized very fizzy and frothy head that fully diminished, transparent golden body, lively, fast rising carbonation observed, and spotty lacing. The aroma is some fruit, mildly floral, earthy, bready, toasted, caramel, and malt. The flavor presents light bitterness, toffee, mildly floral, fruit, caramel, malt, lightly sweet, and a dry finish. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and also thin for the style. This beer is light bodied. Overall, this beer is not typical for the aroma and taste of this beer style. It has a weak malt aroma and a malt aftertaste. This beer is disappointing given the style. This is a beer that I will not purchase again. bigtaster (1016) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - SEP 29, 2017
From a can into a pint glass. Pale orange color medium white head. Marziapan, wheat fields, floral notes. Medium body, sweet, medium carbonation. Nice beer. thedm (6306) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 27, 2017
This canned brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a typically carbonated body semi-transparent yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The weak aroma was mild malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish malt hop aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of hops and malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again. Wrong color, aroma and taste for an Oktoberfest. Definitely non-traditional. monkeychugg55 (1105) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2017
Mostly clear new penny copper with a small white head. The aroma has some subtle caramel and toasted biscuit, as well as some spicy hops. The flavor is similar, with rich but subdued caramel, and unique toasted note. thornecb (6020) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 18, 2017
Pours clear gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to nothing. Caramel and toast aromas. Soft with sweet toffee upfront turning to mild bitter twigs in the dry, lasting finish.
