Decent, but uninspiring. Nice balance in the flavors with a touch of rye. However, somewhat thin and too mild. Needs more oomph.

Aroma is roasty malt with a slight amount of rye spiciness in the nose.
Flavor is well balanced between a roasty maltiness expected in a stout, a slight spiciness from the rye, and a delicate hoppy bitterness in this finish. Quite fine.
Black-brown pour with ruby-red highlights. Dense tan head. Moderate lacing.
Medium mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
Delicious, well balanced and slightly spicy rye stout. A very nice blend of grains in this offering from Revolution Brewing.
A little hit of spicy rye highlights this fine stout. A very nice balance.

Bomber to oversized snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a dark cola with foamy beige head that dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; dark malt, chocolate, roast, and a bit of spice. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel and a nice light rye tingle. Draught at Three Aces. Poured black with minimal tan head. Light malty rye aroma. Almost smooth with good stout taste. A faster drinking stout.

Pours up a a gorgeous brown black with thick tan head. Nice lacing with the first sip & with the last sip a nice inich of foam remained. Straight up coffee malt aroma. Sample at The Daily Growler. Pours a nearly opaque brownish-black color with a medium beige head that dissipates slowly to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Medium body with a roasty character and flavors of dark malt, coffee and subtle rye. The finish is chocolate malt with a touch of spicy rye left behind. Above average overall.
