Cunningham (8375) - Halden, NORWAY - JUL 28, 2017
Aaahhh this is how a British bitter SHOULD BE. Lovely tasty stuff
Dark nutty color with a fine off white head. Good lacing. Looks nice and inviting. Medium + body and a fine carbonation level. Fine pleasant intensity in the aroma. Bready, fruity, caramel and herbal hoppy flavor. Lasting end.

StilleStorm (1579) - Stavanger, NORWAY - APR 4, 2015
DWG; Bottle 500 ML. BBE MAR 2014. Pours small, murky brown with a fading bobble off-white head. Nose is toasted malt, caramel and booze, moderate rasin and spice. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a lasting boozy, cellar finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is flat. Rated 4 days past expiry date, maybe thats not fair..

Eckan (21) - Høvik, NORWAY - FEB 1, 2015
Bottle, half liter. Very little head. Strong taste of hard liquor. Not a pleasant beer. Although one could argue you get a lot of conflicting tastes in one brew it still is worth forgetting asap.

gunnar (9690) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 26, 2015
Shared bottle at Cardinal. Pours almost clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is malty, chewy malts, dark fruits. Taste is moderate sweet dark fruits, some hops at the long finish.

Holmen2 (4031) - NORWAY - OCT 8, 2014
Bottle at Cardinal in company with JMD and OWK 08.10.14. Pale copper. Beige head. Fine aroma of red berries and sweet crystal malt. Similar taste. A bit waterish mouthfeel. Bitter malt and berried in aftertaste.

leaparsons (10756) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 31, 2013
Bottle. Dark ruby red and brown with a beige foam. Aromas are plummy with raisins and toffee malts. Woody and earthy with a vinous and slightly herbal and spicy character. Flavours are toffee with red berries and raisins. Woody and dry with pepper and copper coins. Nettle with lightly bitter lemon. Nearly good.

Garrold (5601) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2013
Bottle from Blacker Hall Farm shop, near Wakefield. Boosh!! This is bad! BBE March 2014, but this is awful. Like iron filings. I’m just glad I got as part of a four for five quid offer.

Sigmund (7906) - Tau, NORWAY - OCT 5, 2013
500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and ripe berries. The flavour is malty with notes of caramel and brown bread, but is not too sweet. Hints of berries. Decent English hops in the finish. Very good beer.

3.3
Holmen1 (6465) - Stavanger, NORWAY - SEP 13, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2015 Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff sep-13: en typeriktig bitter både av utseende og smak,, men i sterkeste laget for tradisjonell pøsebruk. Meget god, elegant men ukomplisert. Ny flaske på samme evenement jan-15: en saftig og god bitter er konklusjonen.
