Bottle. Burgundy with orange glints and a beige halo. Aroma of rich plummy fruit, muscovado and molasses. Beefy malt flavour with an authentic German accent; notes of liquorice, malt loaf and black cherry centred chocolate. Finally bitter with a clinging burnt nut finish.

[ Trade by madmitch76 ]. Clear medium red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, dusty malt, light hoppy. Initial flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter, finish flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty nutty, chocolate, hoppy bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130405]
