   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 1/5   OVERALL 10/20
olsvammel (7294) - Örebro, - JUN 7, 2009
500 ml bottle. It poured a dark copper-amber liquid with a big foam that left a nice lacing. It had a weak smell of metall, bread and a hint of something sweet. The flavor was sweet with malt, bread, metall and a low bitterness. The liquid was fairly thick,. An ok beer.

Zlotta (3972) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2016
0.3 l on tap at ’Celona’. Clear, dark brownish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, malty and quite fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits and some nuts. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity and a little roasty taste of caramel, dried fruits, nuts and a touch of chocolate, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little roasty and slightly metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad!

This is the worst altbeer I’ve tasted ever. The beer had an acid streak which is totally against the altbeer style.

blackisle (2849) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2013
Clear red brown, frothy off-white head, nice lacing, malty nose with some fruit and spice, caramel, bread, dark fruit, floral, bittersweet malty taste, light to medium body, crisp dry finish is slightly bitter, bit spicy

Grifo. Vaso Lager.
On-tap. Lager glass. Dark amber color. White foam, close & lasting crown. Lacing rings on sides. Toasted malt aromas & grassy notes. Sparkling at first turns refreshing & smooth, Toasted flavor. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Clean bitterness in the middle lingers into a long floral bitter finish. Nice session beer !!!

Lowenbrau (4751) - Asturias, SPAIN - MAY 8, 2012
On tap. Malt, caramel and herbal aromas. Pours light copper, with average white to tan head, some persistance and lacework. Malty flavours, along with sweet notes. Very light body and average carbonation. Really easy to drink, quite enjoyable.

jonas (8157) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - APR 19, 2012
Tap at the newer Oldenbur in Madrid.
Dark amber, golden lace.
Light honey roast, fruityness as it warms, grassy hops, good balance, not as much bitternes as in other Alts I think. Medium body, light sparkly mouthfeel.

Arve_Christian (5220) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 14, 2012
On bottle in San Sebastian bar summer 2011
Dark golden
Medium body and complexity
A bit sour for an Alt bier

marrone castagna, velata
media presenza, beige, fine e media persistenza
