Belgian Extra Pale Ale w/Nelson Sauvin & Motueka hops. This BXPA smells like a NZ fruit salad - lychee, kiwi & citrus nose, pleasantly dry finish.

Pours very light pale gold with white head. Light body. I really like this style. Initial citrus sweet ness with other fruit sweetness. A good amount of yeast and malt flavor. Slight bitterness to finish with more sweetness.

(tap) clear, pale yellow colour with a medium tall, white head; aroma of citrus; light and balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

12 oz can in Dublin Ohio. True to style. Good aroma with moderate complexity but the fruity and yeasty flavor lacks complexity. Slightly sour and mildly bitter.

12oz can shared that poured a medium yellow with a white head. Nice light crisp fruity aroma. Light malt base with a fruity hop essence to it. Finishes crisp and clean. Overall tasty and drinkable.

12 oz. can from Old Town. Aroma: Salted lime; honey dew melon; light Sauv Blanc with maybe a hint of cereal. Appearance: Pours a pale gold with average carbonation propping up a foamy white head; the head settles into a patchy ring. Flavor: Straight up salted lime at first; with just a little melon; white wine notes become more noticeable towards the finish; which dries out well and is lightly bitter. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Wonderful beer; not really sure why they want to call this a Belgian Ale; as others have said, it’s more like an APA/IPA if anything.

so I went to the store and bought this can. the can is empty now. Nose is citrus, possible mosaic and cat pee. Some mildly fruity shit. Sip intensifies the fruit shit. Fruitier than most Belgians I’ve ever had. I do get the grape aftertaste and it works really well. Wife says: it good, it’s really good, it’s good, I like it - tone didn’t carry over very well. yay for sauvin

12 oz can. Pale, semi-hazy straw; fluffy white head. Fruity, grapefruit/orange, pineapple, pine, grass, very light Belgian yeast, biscuit grain. Medium+ bitter finish, fairly dry, and pretty clean/crisp. Mouthfeel on the thin side, and not a lot of carbonation. Reasonably good; definitely not a standout.
