Pours a clear golden yellow with a big white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma with some tropical fruit and pine. Light carbonation and some lacing. Nice full mouth feel with a strong bitterness that bites the roof of the mouth. Finishes fairly smooth with a lingering light pine and bitter aftertaste. The fruit flavors could have been a little more prominent to get a better balance. Still pretty enjoyable.

You know it hadn’t been a satisfying experience when all I could manage to write was: soap, dryer lint, and unripe cilantro.
Wish there was more to this IPA.

Bottle. Pours faintly cloudy golden with large foamy off-white head, orange peel aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter orange peel-mango taste, smooth body, long orange peel finish. Very well covered alcohol content, great brew.

kassner (1660) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2017
it is good just not as full bodied as I would like. Rather like a good IPA. Golden color, no lacing, pretty clear, with nice hops. Just not a great DIPA.

Clear gold and lively carbonation. Tropical fruit and malt sweetness blend well together. Slight vegetal taste in the finish.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam. Very simple but well-done west coast Double IPA. Clean and crisp malt, peach and apricot nose that goes on. Light and super crisp, good sweetness. Bitter finish with more citrus, zest and pine.

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown, thanks to solidfunk. As "Rhinegeist Double IPA." Poured a clear golden orange color with a medium sized white head. Lots of sweet/boozy malt notes, some hoppy citrus. Pine.

Very much a bitter herb aroma. Hazy maroon pour with ok head and lacing. Lots of caramelized malt. Almost like a barley wine. Tap at Pizza Paradiso.
