Sampled at the RBSG 2014. It poured a light yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of corn and sweet honey. The taste was of corn, water and a touch of sweet honey. Decent. alexsdad06 (10259) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 8, 2014
Fat nip 7 oz bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy, pale malts, corn, grass, with not much else going on. Any hop character is mild at best. anders37 (26137) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2014
Bottle @ RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with weak grassy hints. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish. brokensail (16432) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle @ RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting. Thanks to Josh for bringing these. Golden pour with a white head. A touch buttery on the nose, but otherwise good. Lots of bread and biscuit. Somewhat grainy and a bit of floral hops. Flavor has more of a creamed corn character to it, weirdly. Bread, some biscuit, and a bit of apple. Some mild hop flavor, too. Decent enough. 7oz bottle. Thanks to someone at RBSG14 for giving this to me. Shared with alexsdad06. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Some ropes of lace. Bready malt, some corn. Hint of vanilla. Not bad. Moderate sweet taste. Light bite to it. Light bitter. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Nothing special, OK, kind of interesting stuff to try. Basic lager, wouldn’t call it craft. Bit of a cheap edge to it, almost malt liquor -like. Even just 4oz wore on me (it got finished, though) phaleslu (10097) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 30, 2014
Small bottle shared by jmagnus87 at the RBSG grand tasting- thanks again, Josh! Pours a clear yellow-gold with a small white head. Just smooth and malty, with pale and crackery malts, grass, and straw. Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, malty mouthfeel. Pretty chitl lager. A taste of the Northwoods, finally! jtclockwork (16424) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 28, 2014
