Gold color. No head. Bready lager aroma. Medium carbonation. Sweet flavor. Slighy malt. No hops. portableparty (2379) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - AUG 19, 2013
7 oz. bottle thanks Josh and Sammy! Pours clear gold with a quick tight soapy head that leaves a wispy film. Aroma is sweet grain light grass and fruitiness ( is this Grain Belt?) Taste is more sweet grain grass and malt with a little bitterness and fruitiness like apple, again is this Grain Belt Premium in a cute little bottle? Palate is thin and dry. I like! Sampled on draught at the Great Northern Beer Festival in Eagle River, WI. Pours a clear light golden straw colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a thin ring and no lacing. Aroma is slightly fruity, some golden multi-grain malt, floral hops and a touch of honey. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, a hint of corn, grassy hop with some thin bitterness. Finish is crisp, clean-cut with a very faint honey aftertaste. Though not considered a highly rated craft beer, it is still a decent session light beer, especially when the 7-oz Shorty bottles return after a 43 year absence. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JAN 19, 2016
Gold pour with white head. Aroma is corn and floral notes. Flavor is sweet malt, some spice, and corn. Bitter is floral and slight. Medium body and a touch fizzy. Seems like a lot of stuff their on the body that could have been used for flavor. This is an old bottle and I don’t get oxidation or off flavors. ok but not special by any means pcampbel (2) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2011 does not count
Classic lager, much better drinking than others out there. Like it says...refreshing as the north woods, plus the tiny bottles are just plain awesome!

Shorty courtesy of Skyview. Yellow color with a small head. Light sugar, rice and grain aroma. Very light grainy flavor. Seems sweetish, with a bit of bitterness in the finish. wlajwl (7010) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Aroma is grassy/skunky and mild sweetness. The flavor is malts, mild sweetness and a grassy/bitterness in the finish. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2012
7oz baby bottle. This stuff is actually not that bad. Probably one of the better beers brewed at Minhas. Surprisingly sweet and slightly grainy, I could drink a lot of these. Actually, I have. Me and about 15 other buddies were in an Ice-fishing tournament and we had already finished 12 cases by 9am. ’Twas a good day! jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 27, 2013

Bottle thanks to portableparty! Clear medium yellow pour, a little carbonation and an aroma of sweet corn. Flavor is also sugary sweet corn, but no real off flavors anywhere. Tolerable!
