Weak aroma, dark copper colour. Lively beer with medium efervescence. Herbal, with delicate malts and some hops. B
Good lace and tempting fragrance. Brown color and a deep promising aroma that grows on you. Hops, dried fruit, some grassy tones and some creamy grainyness. The alcohol keeps in the background, only serving to enhance the excellent mix of flavors. Keep’em coming. s_hartshorne (2784) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2014

Malty bitter nose and taste, but a very healthy one in both areas. Looks the part too. SilkTork (5755) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2012

Bottle from Tesco Extra, Bridgend, Wales, 21.08.11 Pours amber good clarity with a filmy white head. Fruit & toffee on the nose and in mouth, slight boiled sweet quality to this. Soft in the mouth, lacks a little in bitterness, though there is some, quite dry at end. Its marginally better than the Rhymney Export and overall whilst not exciting it’s fine. Clear brown beer. Soft palate. Soft fresh malt - a bit watery but in a refreshing mineral water sort of way! A little bit of hop at the end. A curious beer but a clean tasting one!
50cl bottle from a supermarket in Swansea. It pours a deep copper liquid with a medium-high white spongy head that lasts throughout the beer, but leaves not much lacing. The aroma is complex, with a mild coffee touch, burnt caramel, a little fruitiness, wheat and some distant floral hops. It tastes likewise, with a spoiling graininess at the beginning. It is medium sweet with a little bitterness. Softly carbonated, light bodied for an ale and smooth, it ends dry. A thirst-quencher; very drinkable, but nothing special. Presentation is smart, but a customized crown cap would be appreciated. Ungstrup (37889) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 14, 2011
Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has light notes of flowers, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as a touch of hops. shrubber85 (11460) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 28, 2010
