[email protected] Amber colour, small beige head, some lace. Aroma is hops, yeast and quite much earthyness. Flavour is the same along with slight metallicness and licorice. Finish is very wooden.

Gravicask (Bishops Stortford BF2011)
Passable light bitter. Sweetish pale malts, fairly fresh hops. Mild? Did I get given the wrong beer?

Bottled, 500ml from Booths in Longton, Lancs. Amber to copper with short white head. Sweetish malts initially with a marked vegetable note, sprouts perhaps, quite an iron note within that. Some late if boiled hops, continues to be sweetish with a caramel finish.
