DuffMan (9645) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, - JUN 26, 2013
Sampled @ Edmonton Craft Beer Festival. Pale clear yellow, faint grainy aroma. Clean grainy flavour, low sweetness (which I appreciate) with a light grassy hop note. This was not bad actually.

Dark yellow in colour with little head retention. Tastes of grain, light nuttiness, lemon, floral. Palace is thin with a slightly sweet finish. Overall- its what you would expect, nothing offensive and nothing exceptional.

On tap @ Taphouse & Grill Wainwright, AB. Aromas hard to discern. Somewhat stale, grainy. Tastes are light grain, mild raspberry sweetness, and some alcohol. Light body, moderate carbonation, medium bitter grainy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

No head but nice gold body. Minimal aroma. Okay malt notes with kind of a soft nutty caramel arc. But all quite unintrusive even for a lager that is determined to be a wallflower.

Really nice lager. Crisp, clean good malt.body with a grassy and light lemon. Lightly bitter with heavy grain malt notes. Clean and so drinkable.

355 ml can. Pours a clear golden with a thin, fizzy, white head that fully diminishes. Light aroma of apple with malt and grain. Lightly sweet, fruity flavour with grain, grass and a mildly bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Drinkable.

A well balanced lager! Has a nice flavour of malts and straw/grains. Has a nice mild earthy bitterness.

Pours a slightly dark bronze, with no head or lacing. That taste is sweet biscuit, kind of like I was eating a digestive cookie. This flavour can be found in American Coors, but its heavier here. There is some left over bitterness but nothing offsets the sweet. I like it, if seems the sweet grain gets me off. Id have it again

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2014 Aroma is hay, straw and slight sulphur. Taste is light sweet malts and slightly dry finish.Very pale bitterness on finish. A nice session beer. Appearance is a clear gold bodtly with a thin pearl head that retains fairly briefly.
