(Sample Date: 1/16/2010 Source:Richbrau Brewery) Nutty caramel aroma. Clear amber brown with small white head. Caramel with hint of dark fruits and good dose of nuttiness in the flavor. Finish is dry with light residual bitterness. Well crafted sessionable beer.

Pours a copper brown color with small tan head. Aroma is mostly chocolate with hint of hops. Taste is chocolate, almonds, hint of hop bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable, one of the best nut browns I have had.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a copper tinted brown color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is faint with notes of chocolate and leafy hops. Taste is chocolate, nuts and bitter, leafy hops. Thin-medium bodied. Smooth and drinkable. Very nice.

One of the best brews i’ve had from this place. Solid brown color with small tan head. Lots of nutty and toasted notes. Some caramel. A bit cloying on the palate. Pretty good.

From the brewpub. Clear copper amber body with a large creamy tan head. Caramel aroma, light nutty and some fruitiness. Caramel and nutty flavor, fairly dry, light fruit and somewhat astringent. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation.
