This cider is pressed from apples grown traditionally in orchards around Glastonbury, giving a naturally sweet, mellow-tasting cider with great depth of flavour.

Pours golden clear with a tiny head round the edge of the glass. Nose of sweet apples. Really nice refreshing flaviour. Medium sweet.

Lightly hazed orange with little in the way of a head.
Nose is apple orchard, straw, light smoke.
Taste comprises earthy apples, light pork, apple pulp, straw.
Medium bodied, fone carbonation, drying close.
Ok.

Cask HP at The Crosse Keys London as Rich’s Cider Golden Years. Hazy orange, still, no real head. Aroma is apple pulp, a touch floral. Body is smooth, low carbonation, bit sticky on the teeth. Taste is quite perfumey, definite parma violet sweets, maybe Love Hearts too, lavender notes, light soap, tangy green apple, semisweet finish. Overall, quite solid.

Cask hand pull at the moon under water. A hazed pale yellow straw coloured pour with a fleeting white head. Aroma is dry apples, hints of pithy lemon, wood, and plastic. Flavour is composed of hot alcohol, sweet apple, harsh bitterness. Palate is semi sweet and mellow, drying tannin. OK.

BIAB at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Hazy yellow gold colour, no head and juicy apple aroma. Taste is mellow fruity apple, sweet, with some earthy barnyard and dry tannin. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, very drying finish. Quite drinkable.
