Vaguely apple and an interesting cinnamon note on the nose. Cloudy tan. Dry with some spicy, lively fruit character. Interesting bubblegum character. Nice stuff.

Cask @ The Lamb, Frome. Cloudy, gold, and flat. Mmmm resin aroma. Farmhouse barnhouse funk. Flat, soft, with some alcohol punch too. Salty and astringent.

Bought a 4 and a half liter barrel @ the farm.
Aroma was a ittle funky barnyard...some gueuze’ishness ...with some stale cheeseiness.. zipy apple and musty earth . Very plesant Cider. Its dry which I like , but mellow in that regard. Plesant apple acidity.

Draught (HBF2009) - shared by oh6gdx - thanks!

Now this is a real farmhouse aroma - properly sour. Eggy and bacony in the taste! However, no greasiness in the palate - this is crisp. Real cider rocks!

HBF2009. Hazy orange colour, no head. Aroma is vanilla, wood, barnyard, slight baconlike notes as well. Flavour is extremely dry apples, some yeast and mild briecheese. pleasantly balanced cider.

downender (8937) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2008
Cask-conditioned at The Royal Oak, Bath 5/7/08. Cloudy yellow in colour with no head. Fresh apple and cinnamon aroma. Flavour was dry with plenty of yeast, tart apples and a spicy finish. Very drinkable given the strength.

Gold colour, with just the faintest haze. Rather surprisingly, this had a less farmyardy aroma than the same producer’s medium cider, purchased at the same time. The aroma is fresh and fruity. On the palate, although dry, there is some residual fruit and the mouthfeel is relatively mellow, with a very slight prickle. Spicy edge. A pleasant, quite easy drinking cider. From the barrel at the cider farm.
