Vaguely apple and an interesting cinnamon note on the nose. Cloudy tan. Dry with some spicy, lively fruit character. Interesting bubblegum character. Nice stuff. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 10, 2010
Cask @ The Lamb, Frome. Cloudy, gold, and flat. Mmmm resin aroma. Farmhouse barnhouse funk. Flat, soft, with some alcohol punch too. Salty and astringent. SarkyNorthener (5012) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2013
From barrel at the Minehead Cider Company shop. Cloudy orange/yellow cider. Aroma of dry crushed apples. Taste is apple peel, a touch of tartness and dry with hints of wood. Still cider. Very nice. chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2004
Gold colour, with just the faintest haze. Rather surprisingly, this had a less farmyardy aroma than the same producer’s medium cider, purchased at the same time. The aroma is fresh and fruity. On the palate, although dry, there is some residual fruit and the mouthfeel is relatively mellow, with a very slight prickle. Spicy edge. A pleasant, quite easy drinking cider. From the barrel at the cider farm.

Draught (HBF2009) - shared by oh6gdx - thanks!Gary (2094) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 17, 2010
Now this is a real farmhouse aroma - properly sour. Eggy and bacony in the taste! However, no greasiness in the palate - this is crisp. Real cider rocks!
Bought a 4 and a half liter barrel @ the farm. mR_fr0g (14028) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2014
Aroma was a ittle funky barnyard...some gueuze’ishness ...with some stale cheeseiness.. zipy apple and musty earth . Very plesant Cider. Its dry which I like , but mellow in that regard. Plesant apple acidity.
Bottle in minehead. Cloudy yellow still slightly grey. Aroma is nice fresh sharp apple and parmesan. Flavour is horsey funk, cheese and apples. Medium sweet sugary palate. Tasty. Scopey (16277) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2016
Bottle from the cider shop in Cheddar. It pours hazy bright orange. The nose is earthy, musty, tangy apple, apple skin, wood, vanilla custard, farmyard and hay. The taste is dry, funky, farmyard, touch of manure, oak, leather, farmyard, vanilla, sour orange, apple pie, tannins and light astringency with firm, dry finish. Medium body and flat. Pretty dry, but that’s what I like. Decent oak aged scrumpy. anders37 (27667) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 5, 2011
