Cask @ The Lamb, Frome. Cloudy, gold, and flat. Mmmm resin aroma. Farmhouse barnhouse funk. Flat, soft, with some alcohol punch too. Salty and astringent. SarkyNorthener (4610) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2013
From barrel at the Minehead Cider Company shop. Cloudy orange/yellow cider. Aroma of dry crushed apples. Taste is apple peel, a touch of tartness and dry with hints of wood. Still cider. Very nice. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 1, 2004
Gold colour, with just the faintest haze. Rather surprisingly, this had a less farmyardy aroma than the same producer’s medium cider, purchased at the same time. The aroma is fresh and fruity. On the palate, although dry, there is some residual fruit and the mouthfeel is relatively mellow, with a very slight prickle. Spicy edge. A pleasant, quite easy drinking cider. From the barrel at the cider farm.

Now this is a real farmhouse aroma - properly sour. Eggy and bacony in the taste! However, no greasiness in the palate - this is crisp. Real cider rocks!
Bought a 4 and a half liter barrel @ the farm. downender (8658) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2008
Aroma was a ittle funky barnyard...some gueuze’ishness ...with some stale cheeseiness.. zipy apple and musty earth . Very plesant Cider. Its dry which I like , but mellow in that regard. Plesant apple acidity.
Cask-conditioned at The Royal Oak, Bath 5/7/08. Cloudy yellow in colour with no head. Fresh apple and cinnamon aroma. Flavour was dry with plenty of yeast, tart apples and a spicy finish. Very drinkable given the strength. anders37 (26605) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 5, 2011

Polypin, Rich’s Cider. Hazy orange in appearance. Aromas are earthy apple with oak barrel and barnyard notes. Trace floral lavender with lemon and vinegar. Flavours are dry and woody with earthy apple juice and skin. Quite herbal with floral notes. Dry on the finish. As easy to drink as the medium version.
