Skunky woody vegetal aroma, reminds me of Polish lagers. Golden color, appears heavier than it is. So-so bitter taste, at least it isn’t too corny. Medium body, needs more carbonation to give it a pils bite. A pilsner in the vein of an English bitter.

Darker golden, dissipating head, lots of flowers on the nose, making it feel more Czech than German really. Flower touching upon soapiness on the tongue, with more grass than straw (yeah yeah). Not too sweet of a finish. This isn’t that bad.

Bottle (341 ml). Thanks to Franky Boy for sharing this one! Clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is of grain, corn, pilsner malt and skunky notes. Taste is sweet with grain and corn. Light body. Watery. Too sweet to be drinkable or refreshing. Commercial beer.

From bottle, courtesy of my FIL. Pale lager aroma, beany with some noble hops and a light corn or vegetal aroma. Mild oxidation. Orange amber clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium light body with medium carbonation. Starts a bit dry with some caramel sweetness, mild papery notes, and little hop presence. Finish is smooth with light sweet after.

Has a sour taste... the aftertaste sure stays on your tongue for a long time. Better beer than Rickard’s Red... The label claims that it’s a "German-Style Pilsner"... I’ve never tasted a pilsner like this before

Ennuyant mais rien qui accroche, aucune trace de houblons ni de malt caramel, croustillant et timide.

Richmond 19th. Pale gold. Sort of a dirty cardboard and dried old spice aroma. Flavor is similar. Blech. This is supposed to be a pils??? I think I would have scored it even lower if I had been expecting a pils.

From the bottle poured a golden brew with a white head. Aroma of buttery fingernail polish remover. Medium bodied with flavors of buttery malt and hops.
