Powertrip (1000) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 8, 2012
Single can purchased from an LCBO in Ottawa, Ontario on 06/06/2012. Colour: Dark yellow, light orange, minimal white head. Nose: The yeast and malt is light but present, and it mingles with a delicious vanilla presence. Light citrus in the background. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. Light lemon custard pie seems to be a staple from start to finish (but not sweet), vanilla appears again in the finish. The hops are not stringent or dominating but they play great background music throughout. A decent drink.

I tried this beer on May 13, 2012 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a white head that disappeared quickly. The aroma is grainy malt, some metallic to9nes, and a weak floaral bouquet. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is grainy with some sour and acidic tones. A pretty decent macro.

gramity (1664) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 8, 2012
341mL. Oh joy, another Rickard’s. A clear gold to yellow pour creates a weak, suddy white head that leaves behind webby, white lace. Nose is small corn. Taste is very soapy and grassy hop dominant. Suddy mouthfeel. Very grassy. Not too bad and I can see they attempted a hoppy pilsener but the end result is a little too bland and I think most people will not be able to appreciate the subtlety.

On tap at some bar. Clear yellow with a nice, creamy white head. Smells somewhat skunky. Taste is...surprisingly skunky, for a draft beer. Nice hoppy finish, though. Body is quite light, but with an okay creamy mouthfeel. Has some salvaging qualities, but otherwise, it’s highly disappointing.

Strangebrewer (1308) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 5, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2016 can/bottle. Poured clear amber with a thin white head. Light bready malt nose. Light-medium body, average carbonation, dry finish. Light pale malt with grassy hops, slightly peppery and astringent.

Golden yellow pour with small white head. Aroma is grassy. Taste is grassy, corn and slight hop bitterness. Not good at all.

Bottle from friend at a party. Pours golden yellow with a minimal head. Residing to an island quickly. Aromas are crisp malt and a bit of bitterness. Taste is surprisingly crisp at first. Minimal hop presence, too much of a malt forefront. Not bad, probably their best offering.
