Very nice Dunkel, a little bit like a chocolate stout. Benzai (16918) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2016
Draught @ Ricklinger Landbrauerei shared with kermis. Clear amber color, medium sized creamy off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sweet, slightly caramel, lightly brown sugar. Decent body, smooth mouthfeel. Quite nice. fiulijn (21511) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2006
Hazy amber color. The perfumy aroma (with a light smokeyness) shows a light infection, not confirmed later. Malty body, pleasant light smokiness; sweet caramel. Low bitterness. Light, but pleasant. BlackHaddock (7956) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2014
12th Dec 2014: on tap in Galopper des Jahres, Hamburg. Poured a murky dark brown with a full tanned head. Aroma of semi-sweet maltiness with both woody and nutty notes along with a mini-sour trace. The taste aldo led by the malts, again semi-sweet with a mild wood and nutty flavour, hints of chocolate, still a sourness in the brew, even though the finish was sweet rather than dry and bitter like some beers in this style. Decent body depth and overall a fine beer. jeverszeuge (647) - GERMANY - AUG 28, 2007
red-copper colour, mid head. smells sweet and fruity. starts sweet, malty with fruitiness and a little smoky in the background. later more bitter hops. finish comes with malts and some fruity aromes. the plopp-bottle has labels which are so simple that they are realy good.

bottle, getauscht mit Jevers Zeuge - danke! Hazy brown colour with a small beige head. Lots of aromatic hops, the beer is definitely on the hoppy side, which makes it an interesting choice. yespr (48915) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2008
