Shared at a tasting, thanks Dudu, smallish creamy head, extremely dark brown color, aroma of chocolate, cocoa and dark bread, same traits in flavor with muddy hints, medium bodied, mellow bitterness. Nice and enjoyable. DSG (15519) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 18, 2017
Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks tomer. Dark brown to black. Chocolate, nuts, roast, some coffee, sweetish, light sourish note, bitterish finish, faint smoky hint, medium-bodied. Nice. DavidAust (276) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - APR 27, 2016
bottle into a tulip glass. Dark with an instant (but not overwhelmingly strong) aroma of coffee and chocolate. I love my dark, sweet, malty beers and this didn’t disappoint . Pretty well made porter. Not as thick and chewy as a stout, but still packed full of flavour. Medium length palate, with a nice mocha finish
Great beer - expect you will be happy if you like porters, as it is a good interpretation of the style. StevieT (2039) - AUSTRALIA - APR 5, 2016
From a bottle. A bit over carbed for me, still quite tasty with lovely roasted bitter chocolate finish.

Bottle. - pours black with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roast malt. Taste is chocolate up front then a sweet roast dry malt finish. Creamy palate. motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 21, 2015
bottle from warners at the bay. it’s pretty hard to go far wrong with dark australian craft beer and this was no exception; rich dark brown with a persistent beige head; aroma of stewed stonefruits and brandy cream; a bit of an alcohol hit balanced by some hot chocolate and buttered burnt toast in the finish Maris (1626) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - SEP 19, 2015
From a 330ml bottle on 19/9/2015 (shared by Butz, with thanks). Pours adeep brown with a biggish head. The aroma features chocolate, caramel and touch of roasted malt. Taste wise, it’ very chocolatey, with some milk sweetness and dark bitterness. The palate is a bit creamy and the carbonation average. A really solid, well made porter. 330mL bottle from Slowbeer
Looks great - near black, dense tan head, good lace.
Nice aroma too - chocolate, toast, biscuit, milk coffee, earthy hop.
Full bodied, kinda creamy, smooth, low carbonation.\
Smooth ride on the body, - dark chocolate, dark caramels, toasted nuts, bit of coffee. Moderate bitterness, well rounded.
Really good - picked this one randomly, glad I did! mkel07 (6575) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 17, 2015
150715. This is my first beer from this brewery and I had never heard of them before I walked into Craft Wine Store at Red Hill and saw this bottle sitting in the fridge. I’m guessing by the name of the brewery and the beer that these brewers are into skateboarding.
They have certainly got a winner with this beer. Packed full of flavour and aroma. Pours a deep dark brown to black colour with a slight tan head. The aroma is all chocolate and vanilla and the beer is smooth as velvet in the mouth.
The flavours of bitter dark chocolate, licorice and vanilla fill the mouth and lead to a long bitter sweet finish. A beer that is easy to drink and easy to keep coming back to. Perfect beer for the Antarctic vortex that is currently sweeping the south east states of Australia. The only disappointment with this is that I only had one bottle.
I am keen to sample the rest of the beers in the range.
