ReV2 (178) - Northampton, Northamptonshire, - DEC 30, 2012
Brewed in England for the USA. Pours golden with a creamy white head, thin, floral aroma and hop finish. More of a summer than a winter ale, probably one of their regular beers dressed up with a new label for Christmas. Not bad but stretching it a bit for winter’s ale both in style and strength.

DraftDodger (1626) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2017
Copenhagen 7/8-2017. 50 cl bottle from Den Gamle Købmand (from his big basket of offers). Sneaky looking Christmas Elf with a mug of beer on the label. Pours hazy orange with small white head. Settles as very fine thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Not much Christmas Seasonal over the aroma. Quite sweetish, fresh and fruity. Peach, pineapple and orange. A little fermentation. Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is moderately sweet followed by quite strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with dry finish. Pretty light and bitter Winter seasonal. A little too light maybe - but refreshing.

Bottle. Light Amber Gold in colour. Fruity; citrus bitter grapefruit, some lemon. Spiced. Hoppy; grassy hops. Malty; sweet malts, caramel. Good fruit/hop/malt balance. Citrus fruity grassy hoppy and sweet malty. Dry finish. Drinkable. (2011-04-04)

Hazy golden pour, white head. Some hops and pale malt in the nose. British bitter flavor, nothing terribly exciting here.

Bottle as a Christ mas gift from Jenny and John. Cheers! Pours golden with a thin off white head. Mild grassy aroma. The taste is quite pleasantly bitter. Spicy with a little grass and a touch of citrus. Not very Christmassy, but fine.

LazyPyro (1398) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2016
500ml bottle, 4.5% version. Pours a clear golden amber colour with a small white head. Aroma: malty, caramel, toffee, fruit, mild herb/spice note. Taste: sweet malt, caramel, fruit, slight spice/pine, bitter finish. Medium body, soft-average carbonation. Nice enough beer but it doesn’t feel like a Winter/Christmas ale.

Flaske 500ml - spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune. Gyldenbrun. Høyt kremaktig skum. Litt lacing. Forsiktig maltaroma med undertone av frukt. Smaken mandler. Lett syrlig avslutning.

500ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye at a session with him and Finn. Pours a stable white head over a near-clear amber-gold body. Clingy lacing. Dusty hops and citrus smell. Taste of grassy hops added by a touch of grapefruit followed by a rounded, fruit bitter ending. Fine bodied, Soft carbonated. Like it (Tromsø 10.11.2015).

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2015 Look; pearl white head, golden clear body. Aroma; citrus, sweet hops, caramel, tropical fruits, winegum, pale malts. Taste; hops, bitter, grains, malts, elf-berries, gnome-berries – leading to a fruity semi-dry finish. Ok on palate. Good beer.
