Bottle. Beer was a medium amber with a rust colored hue. Head was small, off white with little lacing. Aroma was of darkfruits, vanilla and alcohol. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 24, 2008
courtesy of oh6gdx - clear amber colour, little elusive foam; aroma of passion fruit and lichee with some notes of alcohol; oily and strong malt body; sweet and deeply bitter with a long malty, fruity and hoppy finish followed by a warming alcohol touch SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAY 7, 2008

A really classy Barley Wine . I enjoyed this ale and felt great .I tried to ponder the complexty and all that but mostly got a rich , buttery malT character and abundance of fruit esters like peach. This is good shit. HAPPY HOLIDAYS in June. BitchPls (815) - FINLAND - FEB 21, 2014
Red beer with a brief and minimal head. Lots of sweet sugared/canned peaches on the nose. Full bodied. Oily. Lots of caramel and dried fruit. Very lovely brew for slow drinking.

Bottle from Spotted Cow 151015. Another "Elf" beer that hits the spot. Looks good, smells good and tastes good. Not much more to say really. beisen (90) - California, USA - NOV 23, 2007
Amber pour, with medium head. Has some honey and spices, and was pretty smooth. Strong alcohol burn, but overall a great brew. FROTHINGSLOSH (8069) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 2, 2007
Sampled from a 16 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a large white head. The aroma was rather pleasant mix of sweet caramel and ripe fruits. The flavor was sweet and fruity with elements of caramel and molasses. The finish was very long, sweet and fruity.
