33cl bottle shared at Leightons. Many thanks to Leighton for this one. It pours a clean copper color with loose large bubbles. Aroma is sweet and lightly boozy with notes of caramel and toasted nuts. Taste is also sweet and rich with light alcohol. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, ok

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours clear copper-ruby with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma has some dried berries, leather, crusty bread, faint pine. Medium sweet flavour with some creamy toffee, ripening berries, more bready malts. Medium to full bodied, creamy, with fine carbonation. Sweet, sticky and lightly warming on the finish, with more gooey toffee, ripe berries, bready male. Drinks pretty good for the ABV.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Deep clear reddish brown colour, thick white foam. Quite sweet malts, caramel, Biscoff, then lots of sticky resiny fruity hops. Bitter finish, cuts through the sweetness. In the hop profile and bitterness it is definitely better described as an Imperial Red than a barley wine. It is a bit boozy but with that citric bitterness I didnt find it cloying; not really one to smash anyway.

Camons (10908) - Hasselager, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2015
Draught @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours amber with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, caramel, sweet fruit, wood, berries. Flavor is rather sweet, malty, caramel, wood, fruit, berries, alcohol. Medium body, lively carbonation that dont fit with the beer that well, sweet finish with quite some alcohol. Not that balanced. 110915

Bottle, 2012 vintage from wicked wine privatimport "vintagelåda 1". Sweet caramel and hoppy aroma.alcohol. Bitter, yet fresh taste. Long sweet finish. Expecting more complexity from the ABV, but still a nice straight forward BW.
