Draft. A black beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is light but has notes of roasted malt and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, alcohol, and tar, leading to a dry roasted chocolaty finish.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. Clear brown - amber beer. Little pale tan head. Palate is smooth and light, semi dry. Very modest carbonation. Sweetish dark malts, touch of caramel/dark toffee. Whisper of paper. Subtle dark fruits. Light dry finish. Drinks well below it’s abv but it’s also a bit thin.
