Raisin sweet aroma with some musk and wood scents. Ale is standard but had the very light spice of a Xmas style. Not bad, not amazing. Good and in bottle. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - APR 25, 2015
Bottle from Total Wine bought during the holidays. finally got to it. Pours a golden amber with a small head. Aroma is malty caramel and breads. A hint of apples and pears. Slight spice. Finishes matly and a hint of bitterness. Medium mouth, weird aftertaste. It is OK. BlindGuardianco (90) - - MAR 24, 2015
Not a bad beer but perhaps too light for an strong ale, similar to a malty beer with some hops and perhaps orange or spices notes. tnkw01 (1759) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Bottle. Very over priced for such a bad beer. Color was copper in color with a nice head. Aroma was pickled barley. Taste, straw, very bitter but the nasty kind of bitter. onceblind (9891) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2014
Slightly hazy dark copper with a big sticky sweet nose, toffee and fig pudding. Nice earthy and mellow sweet flavor with toffee and dry biscuit. Finished a bit watery with English toffee malt. Decent and sweet but not memorable.

Hazy dirty copper to amber pour with a two finger soapy off white head. Aroma is sweet tree fruit, floral and fruity hops, a little toast, toffee and spicy hops. Flavor is toast, light nutty notes, light toffee, and some spicy, citrus, earthy and tea-like hops. A little metallic in the finish. Light to medium body, with a slightly chewy, but crisp entry, medium sharp carbonation and dry, crisp finish. Pretty good overall, nothing to really stand out about it, solid, fairly clean, but flavorful. slowrunner77 (12162) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 17, 2014
"perfume like aroma a little off putting at first, but grew on me. Not a bad beer or a very good beer - a little on the boring side, as unfortunately most Ridgeway beers seem to be. Shared this one with a friend..." TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2014
