Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer. Aroma: lightly apple-like aroma. Appearance: average, rocky, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Cloudy, red body. Taste: lightly sour initial flavor and moderately sweet, caramel finish with average duration. Palate: medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: very good, easy to drink and interesting.

Grainy malt aroma. Deep brown body with a hint of gold. Starts with a light tan fine bubbled head but settle to a film covering. Smooth tasting with mild malt grain taste with a touch sweetness. Finishes with a dry sweetness.

tgrtnr (187) - Augsburg, GERMANY - JUL 4, 2017
500 ml bottle. Cloudy dark amber colour, decent beige head. Bread, cereal, malt, some grapes, banana, hazelnut and caramel. Yeasty, malty, slightly sour. Creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonated, medium bodied. Grainy finish. Overall reminds me of a crossover of a Dunkelweizen and a Dampfbier. Liquid bread.

Pours light mahogany into a Sam glass. Pancake head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Caramel and biscuit aromas. Soft with caramel and dry earthy leaves front to back.

PowY (758) - AUSTRIA - JAN 6, 2017
500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber to copper with an off- white head. Aroma of sweetish malts, some caramel, also a little bit yeasty fruity, interesting. Medium body with an average carbonation. A medium sweetness is accompanied by a light bitterness - balanced. The flavor pretty much follows the aroma - sweet grains, fruits with some banana, hints of spices - is however a little watery with a short finish.

Pours a hazy copper color with medium beige head. Aroma has grain, cereals, yeast, bread and toffee. Taste follows the nose, grainy and cerealy, some bready/biscuity notes along with caramel and yeast, slightly overriped banana.

lupuLust (291) - Franke(n) im Breisgau, GERMANY - DEC 13, 2016
12.12.2016 - Another ancient feeling one. Taste based on those Kellerish brown malts and Emmer sweetness. Without the usual Riedenburger "Gärkeller-smell". Almost no hint to the hops
