maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2008
Bottled - St Albans BF. A hazy dark brown coloured beer with an off-white head. Plenty of banana in the aroma together with fudge and caramel. More caramel and banana in the mouth together with bubblegum, and bready malts. A decent dunkelweizen

darkseduction (742) - Zweibrücken, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2008
Bottle 50cl. Appetising typical colour, small quickly disappearing head, big bubbles. Cloudy with floaties. Caramel, toffee and bread flavours, dry fruits, raisins. Almost no cloy. Balanced, grainy and refreshing. Qualitiy fits in the Riedenburger Familiy. Very nice and individual.

ako (166) - Turku, FINLAND - JAN 20, 2008
Hazy amber. Aroma has citrus. Flavor is a bit light for a dunkelweizen. Seems to turn maltier towards the finish. Hints of caramel. Nonspectacular finish.

CEZ (415) - Milano, ITALY - AUG 26, 2007
Brown body with abundant beige head. Caramel and roasted malt in the nose. Tartish mouthfeel, rather thin malty texture, some chewing gum sweetness. Medium bodied. Not too impressive.

rosso carico quasi scura buona schiuma ma non molto persistente profumo di tofee che si ripresenta un po anche in bocca

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2007
Bottle. Typicaly estery banana notes, with hints of clove and citrus. Notes of brown sugar come through as well. Quite sweet aswell, but more tart than sickly sweet.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2007
A Sim rate (Bottle at Ealing B.F.): Amber colour with a nice head. Aroma of malt caramel and metal. Flavour is also malty and metallic with raisin and chocolate. It’s more bock than dunkel. Thin palate.

raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - JUN 14, 2007
Pretty decent dunkel hefeweizen. A bit on the sour side, some banana. Not too roasted for a dunkel, but weizens seldom are. A bit watery mouthfeel for a weizen.

bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAR 14, 2007
Bottle. Clove, banana and caramel in the aroma. Fruity, caramelly flavor with mandarin and banana. Traubenzucker. Thin. Decent thirst quencher.

jonas (7581) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JAN 26, 2007
Bottle. Hazy chestnut, huge rocky golden foam. Light citric and minerally yeasty nose. Claylike notes, quite a bit of chocolate, heather, somewhat salty. medium body, surprisingly mellow mouthfeel for a Weissbier. Roasted, light fruity (mango) aftertaste. I am pleasantly suprised - there is far between the interresting Dunkelweizen out there.
