anstei (2610) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - NOV 6, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2017 Bottle. Pours clear yellow. Aroma is grassy and citric, hay. Body is medium, quite bitter with a lively carbonation. Rather unspectacular. Dry, alright. Soy sauce.

Score: 6 / 4 / 6 / 3 / 13

330 ml bottle from a supermarket, bb 23.09.17
Pale golden, clear, body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of bread, flowers, grass, herbs, some grains, slight citrus.
Tastes similar, clean and dry.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes dry, medium bitter, herbal, floral, grassy.

Good. Clean and balanced, with a good dryness. I’m just missing some more character, this is almost too clean. Still a solid, classic Pils.

ciocanelu (2957) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - AUG 7, 2016
Grainy aroma with noble hops character. Taste is clean, crisp with very clean, pale malt character and medium hop bitterness. Light body with crisp carbonation. Overall it’s quite clean and drinkable, except a slight stale flavor on the finish.

Beerhunter111 (22513) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JUL 26, 2016
33cl bottle. Pours clear pale golden colour with a mid-sized good lasting white head. Aroma of grassy hops, hay, pale malt. Taste of grassy and mild bitter hops, some sweet grainy malt, good one!

rok1024 (1272) - Maribor, SLOVENIA - JUN 28, 2015
Pale yellow appearance with medium head. Low hops, malty and grainy. Overall below average Pilsener style.

reebtogi (6385) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 27, 2011
500mL bottle. Poured pale straw color with good head and small lacing, light bodied with grainy malt and light citrus hop, a refreshing enough beer but could be better with a touch more hops.

BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - APR 27, 2011
Bottle: Green glass; pours a pale yellow color with a nice white head. The nose is snappy with husk and light dusty noble hops. Metallic and bitter finish with a touch of clean biscuity malts in the back end. Ok.

nickd717 (4889) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 9, 2010
Draft at Gourmet Haus Staudt. Pours hazy yellowish-golden in color with a small white head. Pretty nice sweet pale malt and grainy aroma with slight herbal hops. The flavor is more like a helles lager, not bad but missing the hops. Pale malt and grain, very bready with a light herbal hop presence. Medium-light bodied and smooth with average carbonation, fairly smooth on the palate. If you call this a pilsner, it’s not quite as hoppy as I’d like, but it would be good for a helles lager.

troopie (2439) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Bottle. Poured Pale yellow with thick white head, much lacing. Unfortunate very skunky aroma, a little malt, and more skunk. Thin body, thin flavour, a little hoppiness, Finish not bad, but not good either, Good looking, not so good tasting.
