Drei Gaben Aromahopfen garantieren die feinherbe Frische dieses Premium Pilseners, das seinesgleichen sucht. Herrlich hopfenblumig. Prickelnd und rezent dabei ausbalanciert schlank. Weicher Antrunk ohne nachhängene Bittere.

Henrik85 (63) - SWEDEN - NOV 28, 2014
Bottle from Systembolaget. Fresh, malty aroma. The taste is somewhat complex and dominated by a strong but pleasant bitterness. The taste is very much of green olives. Long and dry finish. Nice!

330 ml bottle at home. Yellow with white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain, grass and hay. Taste is sweet and bitter, balanced, fairly complex with a hay and grass like finish

En klassisk lager i tysk traditionell tappning. Förhållandevis torr och hyfsad beska för klassen.

Tap at the Tokyo BeerFes. Bright pale gold. Slightly hoppy nose, crackers, cardboard as a result of oxidation. Flavor is light and slightly hoppy. Could be decent if it was super fresh but this is oxidized and just meh.

Scauca (490) - Lovere, ITALY - JUL 6, 2008
Very bright straw under a foamy lacing&lasting white head. Hints of grassiness, little or none maltiness. Very dry palate, quite bitter end, short aftertaste. Better than commercial lagers but way far from better examples of the style.

[email protected] Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm as Monks Bavarian Pils. Golden. Clear. White head. Aroma is flowery and fresh. Also hopy. Same goes with the taste. Moderate bitternes. Ok pils, but that´s it.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas absolut Pilstypisch. Goldgelbe Farbe, mittelhohe, feine Krone.

Bottle from Pivnizub - many thanks! Beer pours out in a light, clear golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of hopsand citrus. Taste of bitter hops, grass, light malt and grains. Quite dry-bitter hints, but a nice and quaffable finish though. Refreshing and honest - nice one.

Klassches feinherbes Pils mit leichter Hopfennote und milder Malzigkeit - dazu noch von pivnizub gespendet. Nicht schlecht für ein Allerweltspils !
