Cerveja forte, com um toque bem suave de caramelo. Boa, mas no excepcional.

Couleur ambre trouble, bonne mousse. Nez fruit, fruits jaune, note banane, paille, alcool. Gout fruit jaune avec paille, levure, banane, ester puis malt dorge, sucre, fruits secs et alcool. Bon corps. Pas mal, manque juste un peu donctuosit et de rondeur

0.33 l bottle from Biermuda, best before July 2018. Murky, brownish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of dried apricot, cloves, overripe banana, some cinnamon and a touch of caramel. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of overripe banana, cloves, orange jam, vanilla, honey and some nuts, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy, minimally sourish and a bit peppery-boozy finish. Over medium-bodied, creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice classic Weizenbock, a tad too much alcohol noticeable maybe, very pleasant overall though.

I bought this bottle at Amstein. I drank it yesterday at home, after the work, making my payments. In my point of view, it is a delicious weizen bock with all the qualities that you have, if I compare with the Schneider Aventinus, this one is more sweet, malty and there is a strong side of banana and apricot, nice sensation of tastes in the mouth, it is the kind of beer that you drink step by step smocking and dreaming.

Bottle in the advent calendar. Deepish hazy amber colour, thick white foam. Lovely banana ester and boozy smell. Sweet deep wheaty malty and plenty of yeast character. Maybe not the most complex or moreish weizenbock, but very pleasant.

Pigs Ear Fest. Thanks to Ian for the bottleshare. Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts. Banana esters. Dried fruits. Mild spice. Smooth semi dry finish brings more banana. Satisfyingly rich.

Hazy cola coloured beer with a tan coloured, medium sized, good lasting, fine head. Aromas of banana, wheat, bubblegum, peach, spicy yeast. Taste is medium sweet in the beginning, fruity and yeasty, rising sweetness and light clove in finish. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Missing something in taste. My question, is it the same as Riegele BierManufaktur Augustus 8?

Bottle was behind door number 11 of my beer advent calendar. Appearance: Cloudy, brown liquid with a fine white head and hardly any visible carbonation. Aroma: Loads of banana, some tropical fruit, caramel, a bit of dough/yeast. Perfect for a Weizenbock. Taste: Very sweet, hardly any bitterness and a bit sour. A bit too sweet for me. Palate: Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation and a long finish. Overall: Very good Weizen for a dessert. Balanced aromas, but a bit too sweet for me.

Bottle. Cloudy, beautiful amber brown color, with a fine beige head. Overwhelming honey aroma, with also some clove and banana esters. Sweet taste, but not too sweet, balanced bitterness and despite 8% ABV no ethanol standing out. Malty sweet aftertaste, without being sticky and light fruits. Fizzy carbonation, thick and rich texture.

Bottle at Pigs Ear Festival 2016. Hazy amber thin white head. Banana bubblegum aroma. Yes decent ripe banana. Some red fruits too. Banana toffee. Sweetish but drinkable enough. I enjoyed it.
