The best beer I have tasted, and Ive sampled many over the years. The taste and particularly the aroma, are simply sublime.

12 oz. bottle from Liquor Barn (Springhurst); split four ways. Aroma: Semi-dry cereal with an abiding grassiness that reminds me of German Pilsners; very clean and inviting. Appearance: Yellow pour with light streams of carbonation supporting a patchy white head. Flavor: Assertively grassy up front; malts more subtle and leave a whisper of sweetness, leading to a dry, grassy finish. Palate: Light body, sticky texture, very soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Its a superbly done Helles; probably the best German example Ive found stateside, especially from a bottle.

50cl bottle sample @"Alles IPA? - Craft anders" ProBierclub Seminar, Braukunst Live Mnchen 2014, FR. This beer is all about the taste and learning about the textures of layered malts created by a work-intense old gristing procedure does pay off when sampling. Delicate sandcake pale malts, spelt, hay all add to a strange thick texture for a Helles/Export made palatable by its slight wood astringency. Otherwise mildly hopped like any other Export, but the texture and mouthfeel are astounding, if not thirst-quenching.
