27.10.2014. 0,75l Bottle. From biershopbayern.de. BB date 10.07.2014. Handabfüllung No. 000664. So its a little above BB date. Black colour with brown head. Very lively carbonated. The dark foam keeps pouring from the bottle top. This beer is almost spiled by the carbonation. But ok. Aroma of dark malts. Dry bitterness leaves strong notes of chocolate and cocoa. Ther is also coffee and some oaky or wood notes. Or maybe that just comes from the carbonation. There is also some sweetness but that is very well balanced with the dry bitterness. Good flavours but spoiled. Almost a gusher. gunnfryd (14815) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2014

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, smoke and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long roasted and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 75cl corked. Produces a big, collapsing dense, light tan head over a more or less black body. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and some salty licorice in the aroma. The flavor is medium sweet, with roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and some licorice. Lightly bitter. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting roasted finish with dark chocolate. Most definitely a nice German dark ale. 140301 Rasmus40 (20303) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2014
