Pours almost black with a creamy cappuccino head. Nose is old coffee grounds. Tastes like weak coffee from a metal thermos. Fairly bland. Interesting idea, but not a favorite stout.

16 oz can. Pours dark brown with a big bubbly tan head that retains fairly well and leaves little lacing.jgb9348 (6397) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 30, 2017
The aroma is sweet lactose and roast coffee.
The flavor is sweet sugary lactose and chocolate with big ashy roast coffee and a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, a decent coffee stout. A bit too much lactose and ashy roast that don’t mesh well.
Rich dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall tan head on top and a nice opaque glow of brown, about 70% opaque. Aroma of pure molasses, brown sugars, roasted and toasted malts, some oats, a little bit of earth and cereals and another bite of anise and some spice. Medium-bodied; Rich roasty flavours with a big dose of metal and earth along with some chocolate and caramelised sugars, coupled with a good toast and nutty finish that shows a lot of fuller bodied notes near the end. Aftertaste has a pleasant complexity with the toasted malts and earthiness by far the strongest, but also with a little dose of sweetness and even spice with a smooth finish of chocolate and even some bread and unfinished yeast noticeable as well. Overall, a well-structured and nicely flavoured stout with almost a porter-like flavour, but some good chocolate and spice flavours and a good body with a smooth complexity near the end make this very nice, especially when the weather isn’t perfect outside! I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 11-September-2015 for US$2,59 sampled at home in Washington on 30-May-2017. thecleyman (25) - - MAY 20, 2017
Strong coffee taste. Dark color. Tastes alright. If you love tons of coffee in your beer, then you will love it.

Keg at the brewery. Dark brown, thin fizzy brown head, good retention. Aroma of oats, coffee, roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, oats, coffee. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Very nice. deyholla (11914) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 29, 2016
On tap at Mani. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has coffee and chocolate with a light dark grain backbone. Flavor has mild chocolate, coffee and dark grains combining. StoutStarterLover (1) - Michigan, USA - DEC 2, 2016 does not count
Tasty. Personally enjoy sweeter, creamier tasting stouts. However this does the trick! Better than most stouts out there. It’s refreshing with a hint of beer and coffe taste. Can’t write anything bad about it. I’d definitely buy it again.
