COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Thin mint cookie, meet John Niedermaier A stout made with organic locally-grown whole leaf mint. She’s just back from a stint in the cooler for being too naughty. She might have mellowed out but this stout is still naughty at heart.

Stout brewed with real mint. Dark as night with a dark creamy head. Tastes like girl scout cookies. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black hue under a thin light tan head. Earthy semisweet dark chocolate nose with a thin herbal bitter undertone. Smooth crisp malty Stout flavors with gentle cocoa and bitter dark chocolate, a little herbal minty tone, and a mild earthy roasty cocoa finish.

No. I just couldn’t finish this. Struggled with about half the bottle, then had to pour my glass in the drain. Tastes like somebody added listerine or toothpaste to a decent stout. Won’t be drinking this again, but at least I’ll probably remember it.

Didn’t try this one when I was at the brew house a couple months ago, so I picked it up when I saw it on the shelf. Pours jet black. Nondescript head. I expected strong mint in the nose, but got almost nothing. Bitter taste, sour...And still not getting much mint. Very little carbonation, almost flat. After several sips, I’m starting to get a faint hint of mint in the aftertaste. Not a fan.

Jet black pour with a medium thick rocky beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, malt and mint. Light to medium body with flavors of burnt malt, coffee and mint chocolate. The finish is chocolatey with a subtle mint aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottled. Pours pitch black with chocolate covered head. Strong mint aroma that carries over with good balance. I wish it were heavier bodied because the mouthfeel is thin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can courtesy of gregwilsonstl. Cheers, Greg! Pours a deep stout brown with a tan head. Nose is mint chocolate ice cream- cocoa, mint, more mint, roast, and some earth. Flavor hits with huge mint up front, cocoa in the supporting role, and some roast and dark chocolate as well. This one hits close to the mark on mint chocolate ice cream and is an enjoyable stout. Medium in body and lingering mint into the finish.

Aroma of malts but very light mint. However, the taste is mint, mint, and more mint. Too much. Not a fan. Tap at brewery.

Andes mint. Tastes like how it should. I need one of these next to Perennial 17. Really tasty, Im glad it isnt imperial. A thicker version would be interesting. Right Brain, I wish you had a brewpub in STL! Thx Erin!
