Our medium-bodied, aromatic, dry-hopped pale ale is loaded with lush and tropical hop character. Not quite an IPA, but more pungent than a typical pale ale. Juicy with aromas of citrus and stone fruit.

Hazy copper and bronzed coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright grassy and piney hops with a smooth, but assertive malt backbone. Medium-bodied; Strong malty flavours at first that show earth and quite a bit of caramel, tucked along with some bright grassy and floral hops and ending with a smooth grain and oatmeal complexity. Aftertaste shows a lot of pungent bitterness and a good deal of hops with more of an earthy and toffee-y bite and less so of the malt, all around. Overall, a good APA with a nice hoppy kick and a moderately well balance of malt for the style. I sampled this sixteen ounce pour on draught at Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 25-May-2017 for US$5,00 sampled at the end of my driveway.

Draft at R.F.D. Mellower East Coast IPA. Aroma leans towards the maltier side. Like with my recent UK trip, some palate adjustment is required. Smooth and hoppy, but allowing the he malts to showcase as well. This will not crush you palate, like out west.

MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - NOV 28, 2016
On tap at Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring, MD. Clear gold with an off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, grass, pineapple and light tropical fruit. Taste of mandarin orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit, cereal and grass. Medium body and medium carbonation with a silky mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Lucky Bar, DC. Nice gold body with slight head. Nose floral, hoppy, fruits and grapefruit for sure. Taste also floral, bitter and lots of hops. Pretty good. Drank this watching Iceland beat England in EURO 2016.

3fourths (9345) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 16, 2016
Cascade-like mandarin orange nose with quieter notes of grapefruit and resin, showing some Munich-like maltiness as toast, warm cereal, bread crust, etc. Juicy-citric finishing hops and appropriate balance, clean fermentation and silky fine carbonation.

brownaler (663) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAR 8, 2016
Strawberry malt with a nice hop profile finish is a bit sour with a bit of honey. A nice session beer.

4oz draft at Right Proper-Brookland. Lite gold with bare head. Green hops, grass, veggies. No bitterness, too vegetable-y.

A decent beer - glass at right proper brewery in Brookland, DC. Particularly enjoyable after the brewery tour.

Radek Kliber (7359) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 20, 2015
Where and how: at brewpub
Aroma: medium plus intensity. Very nice, mature nose. Rounded, rich with balancing soft malts behind. Refreshing approachable feel.
Appearance :
Top: mid-sized, white cap.
Base: hazy, amber
Palate : medium bodied, semi dry. Frisky carbonation with long finish.
Taste: straight, and it does hits you in all right spots. Perhaps only one small fault would be that is tad too dry.
other notes very nice hoppy ale.
