Aromatic Pale Ale
Marcus Garvey prophesized to be wary when sevens clash on the calendar. This aromatic pale ale was brewed on 7/21/14, so to guard against any disaster, it is larded with all of your favorite fruity citrus and resiny American hops. When sevens clash, you better do right.

Draft at the source. Light golden body with a thick white head. Ample lacing. Aromas of sourdough bread, biscuit, pine, hops. Robust, malty body with a hint of spice. Light sweetness and a touch of fruit. Pine forward with medium bitterness. Decent.

Draft at the Shaw location. Poured a clear golden color, with a white head. Aroma was nice tropical notes. Very fruity. Flavor had a light tropical note with some barn. I want to say coconut. Straw.

Travlr (26288) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Draft at the source. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma of beautiful tropocal fruit, mango, pineapple, even maybe distant coconut, although that might be my imagination. Taste is bitter hay and fruit. Nice.

3.9
nimbleprop (8830) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Clear gold with lots of lacing sticky white head. Nose is so damn solid, sticky citrus, soapy, vinous, piney, lightly catty. Flavor is total hop, malt is there only to cut, lemon, pine, grapefruit, soap, mild herbs. Crisp, bitter finish. Sessionable.

3.3
Nickls (2609) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - AUG 26, 2014
Tap. Clear marigold, pure white head with great lacing. Citrus, but also saw dust hoppiness, not bc it’s faded, but just super dry. Flavor hits quite bitter, dry, and missing the nice citrus or juicy hop notes that separate the best from average in the style. Lighter body with tingly carbonation.

Proper beer based on a proper reggae album based on a proper Rastafarian philosophy. Props to Culture. Awesome hay and pine. Wicked farmhouse aroma. Golden pour. Super bitter finish. Good palate. Tap at brewpub.
