abemorsten (3615) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - NOV 29, 2009
Pours clear darkruby with fully diminishing beige head. Alcoholic caramel aroma. Flavor is caramel sweet and alcoholic. Syrupy mouth feel. Recommended. (Sampled at Nærbø Ølfestival)

ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 4, 2009
2009 batch, pours from bottle dark reddish brown with virtually no head. Strong alcoholic scent, almost overpowering. Bland, malty taste with small undertones of roast, but not nearly enough to justify the poorly concealed exhibitionist alcohol, which also affect the palate in a rather disturbing way. Can’t get any aroma vibe from this beer at all, except the strong alcohol presence which really doesn’t do much in the way of taste improving. Guess its main purpose is to get Norwegians really drunk on Christmas Eve. Disappointing.

KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2009
Brown with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and toffee notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, chocolate, honey and toffee notes. Finished sweet.

Hansen (8595) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JUN 4, 2009
Dark brown and clear. Has an off-white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, pepper, alcohol, and a bit unpleasent yeasty. Flavor is heavy sweet.

saxo (18301) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2009

Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 20, 2009
Bottle. High creamy and lasting light brown head leaving nice long lacings. Clear dark ruby body. Sweet roasted malt aroma with caramel and alcohol. Sweet roasted malt flavor with caramel and a bit of alcohol. A bit of bitterness in the finish. Alcohol present but well hidden by the sweetness. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.

HenrikSoegaard (14166) - Randers, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2009
Bottle courtesy Yngwar. Frothy off-white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber-brown colour. MOderate malty and hoppy aroa. Very burnt and roasted. Moderate bitter flavor. Long nice moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Only slightly alcoholic and a very nice beer.

mjs (7357) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 17, 2009
(Bottle on 2009-02-14) Dark brown and clear. Small white head. Malty aroma. Almost full bodied palate with little carbonation. Malts, sweetness, bitterness and hint of chocolate in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.

Beer5000 (6486) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 24, 2009
330 ml bottle. I prefer this well matured, so this rating is based on a bottle 6 months after the best before date. Dark amber body with a huge, creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, mocha, raisins and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and well-roasted malt, dry fruit, caramel and some sherry or port kind of alcohol. Well balanced and nice. I will definitely recommend a bit of storage to get the best potential out of this.

jkwalking05 (4738) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2009
Dark brown with a good sized off-white head. Aroma is of rye, fruit cake, malt, bananas, and cherries. Flavor is malty, brown sugar, raisins, cherries, and plums.
