3.9
Beer5000 (6825) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 24, 2009
330 ml bottle. I prefer this well matured, so this rating is based on a bottle 6 months after the best before date. Dark amber body with a huge, creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, mocha, raisins and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and well-roasted malt, dry fruit, caramel and some sherry or port kind of alcohol. Well balanced and nice. I will definitely recommend a bit of storage to get the best potential out of this.

3.2
espenra (1016) - Kurland, NORWAY - DEC 19, 2008
33cl bottle at BeerPalace. It poured a dark brown, almost black colour with a medium big creamy head. Aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malts, raisins and syrup. Unfortunately the flavour does not match the aroma. It is watery with notes of roasted malts and nuts. It has a short aftertaste. A disappointing beer.
