Maits (508) - ESTONIA - JAN 4, 2017
Dark brown clear beer with little white head. Aroma is spicy, sour and sweetness of some berries, malty. Quite refreshing. Taste is little bit bready and few bitter notes. Easy drinkable medium body. Good beer, but not exactly a traditional christmas beer.

MGantzel (274) - Aalborg, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2016
Denne juleøl har et klart mørkt udseende med et medium hvidt skum. Øllen har en lakrids aroma og smager deraf med sødme af ristet karamel. Bitter afrunding. Medium karbonering.

Dark nutty brown appearance with no head. Tastes of dark, sweet malt, caramel, peppers and leaves. Medium body, somewhat aggressive carbonation and a finish of sprucy malts. Very good and sweet Christmas beer

On tap @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with little beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark bread, nuts, caramel, make, honey, spices, raisins. Tastes quite sweet, some bitterness in the finish. Somewhat boring, but an OK Norwegian Christmas beer.

Cunningham (8069) - Halden, NORWAY - FEB 25, 2015
Deep brownish color with a fine tan head. Nutty, toffee and some dried fruits in the aroma. Medium + body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. A bit oily texture. Toffee, nutty, caramel and fruity flavor. Decent traditional Norwegian Christmas brew.
[Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Halden, Norway]

Klart rødbrunt med lysbrunt skum. Duft av knekkebrød og karamell. Smaker nøtter, svakt av tørket frukt og noe karamell. Fin alkoholvarme.

ERB92 (752) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 23, 2014
Caramel, brown sugar, dried fruits and some spices in the aroma. Brown with a red tint, tan head. Medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium body with a average to soft carbonation. Overall an enjoyable brew from Ringnes, not in any way exciting but about what you would expect from a Norwegian makro christmas beer.
