Previously known as Best Bitter. Rebranded November 2015.
The perfect supping beer! Our first brew and still the New Forest’s favourite tipple. Under the name Best Bitter was awarded Bronze Medal at the Munich Beer Festival in 2005.
Nose: Tempting hop aroma with fruit notes.
Palate: Good malt feel in the mouth, dry, tangy fruit finish.
Comments: Delicious, easy drinking slightly tart pale bitter.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2016 Latest rating: at the Red Lion, Swaffham Prior. Chestnut brown. Sour vinegar sulphurous aroma. Taste is actually sweet and quaffable, with a lovely hoppy aftertaste. A reasonable ale, although I’m not overly keen.

As a "Best Bitter". Cask at the Isle of Wight near Atlantic Ocean. Pairing with Calmari. Fajne, miedziano-herbaciana barwa. Z pol cm piany, smakowo mnostwo goryczki w tradycyjnym brytyjskim stylu, zero slodowosci i nieco opiekanej, mocno zrumienionej skorki od chleba. W aromacie czarna herbata, oczywiscie bez mleka:)

Cask at the Globe, deep brown, slightly woody caramel nose, malty, lightly sweet and not so bitter, seems a tad oxidised.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2017 Not a fan has a flat sour taste. Once you get used to it its just watery and bland. Shockingly bad really. Might have been a bad pint. But I dont particular care to try a better conditioned version.

Ktwse (5621) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2016
Pours cloudy golden with low white head. Aroma of bread, caramel, light citrus. Taste is mellow sweet with a lingering floral bitter finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

explosivedog (1697) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 8, 2016
On tap at the Old Vine. Aroma is a little fruity but not much, and the flavour has bread, malts and grapes.
