Wow it's been a while since I had this, but this brewery has inspired me to brew my own beer. Maybe one of the best brewers in North America.

Draught @ Shipyard Tavern. Clear copper red with small foamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, medium carbonation, lightly sweet caramel taste with medium bitterness, medium bitter finish. Nicely balanced ESB.

On tap at the brewery. Pours copper with fluffy white head. Aroma is of caramel malt and red berries. Body is medium and smooth. Earthy hops, honey, caramel malt and red fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and semi-dry. Average brew.

Pours a nice hazy golden orange color. Aromas of nice citrus/grapefruit hops. Flavor starts malty and the hops kick in, nice crisp bitter finish.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Downtown Discount Beverage. Aroma is caramel and dark fruit with noble hops. Appearance is clear, beautiful copper amber with finger width off-white fluffy head with attractive sudsy lacing. Taste is strong caramel with fruit, noble hops light bitter. Palate is medium bodied with thin but creamy texture, lively carbonation and pleasant sweet finish. Overall, much better than I was expecting based on ratings. Not much nuance here but good at what it does with exceptional appearance.

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. Te beer is a clear copper color with a white head of foam. Fair retention. The aroma is grassy and has a bit of cotton candy going on. The taste is mildly bitter and a touch resinous toward the finish. Lighter to medium body and moderate carbonation.

Pours an amber from a bottle, caramel and vanilla notes in the nose, a little skunkiness in the mouth. Okay beer.

My favorite ESB, pours bright, clear copper with thin off-white head. Aromas of caramel, bread dough, and a slight metallic note that in no was is displeasing. In fact, the smell entices well into the flavor, which translates most of the nose directly. Caramel and toast on the tongue. Finishes fairly dry with a semi-sweet lingering aftertaste. Much tasty. So session!

Pours an amber gold with a thick offwhite head. Aroma of banana esters, caramel malt and spicy yeast. Taste follows, bananas and funky yeast. I wouldn’t drink this again.
