Bottle from Pace High Carryout. Gold pour with very little head. Aroma of very sweet sugary bread malts. Tastes are floral, sweet grainy cereal, raisin, honey, caramel. Burnt sugar. Alcohol actually fairly well hidden. Rough, overwhelming overall though. SpongeRuiner (1114) - Michigan, USA - JUL 27, 2014
Ok. It pours a bright gold color. Has a straight up bad liquor copper aroma. It brings an almost gag reflex with the smell. Taste like a liquid penny. A bad aftertaste. Just not good. After a few sips I just wanted to throw up every time I brought it close to my senses. In no way did I want to even finish half of my pour. The definition of a drain pour. Pours a copper color with small fizzy head and no lacing. Aroma candy sweetness, yeast and booze. Taste of candy sweetness, bit of malt and spice. Odd bitterness and a medicine aftertaste. Fairly light body, smooth and boozy. Bought it as the label caught my eye....should have known better. Metalhead (644) - Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA - MAY 1, 2014
